The International Housing Finance Program (IHFP) was established in 1985 to foster excellence in housing policy and housing finance education, research, and technical advisory services, with a specific focus on developing and emerging market economies.

    • To the international housing finance industry and policy makers IHFP offers objective and state-of-the-art education in housing finance system development, instruments, risk assessment methods, and housing policy innovations.

  • To academic institutions and professional trade associations in emerging economies it offers assistance to build up quality housing policy and housing finance training and research capabilities.

  • To governments in the process of transforming their housing policies and housing finance institutions it offers advisory services and the dissemination of research and technical reports.
